FANTIC PASSO GIAU ROAD EBIKE
Nothing beats the elegance and speed of a nice road bike. Just load up on water and snacks, turn the pedals, and cover big miles.
The Fantic Passo Giau is a nice road bike. It sports a carbon frame, a carbon fork, high-end components … and a motor.
Yes, a motor!
The electric-assist lets you ride faster and farther on your own, or you can hang with fitter riders. Ride as fast as a pro, but without all the training (and dieting).
Fantic has been a respected Italian motorcycle brand for more than 50 years. Their ebikes are made in Italy with the design, quality, and performance you expect from the land of espresso, Ducati, and Ferrari.
Two bikes in one: One of the most mind-blowing features is the completely removable battery and motor. By simply removing the battery and motor and installing the cover plate, you now have a standard road bike without the motor and batteries' excess weight. Mind-blowing, game-changing two bikes in one.
Ideal for touring and fitness riding: Do you live for long rides on country roads (over 20 miles) and cool cruises along the creekside bike path? This bike has the perfect blend of high speed and long-range. Of course, this beautiful machine will serve you well for shorter commutes and errands.
Class 1 ebike: This bike only delivers motor power while you’re pedaling. When you reach a speed of 20 miles per hour, the motor turns off. You can keep pedaling, but it’s a lot more work. Class 1 is the most commonly allowed type of ebike; you can ride on almost any road or bike path, and on many mountain bike trails. Be sure to check your local rules.
Fazua Midmount motor: 250 watts continuous power with 60Nm of torque. The perfect motor for this sleek, fast road bike. It delivers all the power you need to hammer a fast pace or hang with a strong group, plus it’s rather light.
250 watt-hour battery: This light battery provides enough power for shorter rides on flatter ground, especially for lighter and/or fitter riders, while keeping the total bike weight down. To estimate how long you can ride this bike, divide the battery capacity by the amount of motor power you’re using. For example, a 250wh battery with the motor running at 250w would theoretically run for 1 hour. The same battery at 125w would theoretically run for 2 hours. It’s smart to subtract about 25 percent to account for the occasional wrong turn.
